Lenovo Idea Centre Horizon

Lenovo Idea Centre Horizon
At this year's Consumer Electronics Show (CES) the Lenovo IdeaCentre Horizon stood out as a one of a kind product.
An award known as Last Gadget Standing acknowledges the Lenovo IdeaCentre Horizon as one of the big winners at this year's show.
According to their website, Last Gadget Standing looks for products that are more than just a flash in the pan. They are products that will endure and are pioneering the ways in which the digital world will change.

In the online voting for Last Gadget Standing 2013 the Lenovo IdeaCentre Horizon was a late arrival to the competition being added to the ballot just 3 days before the close of the online voting. Coming on very strong in its three day shot at the online vote the Lenovo IdeaCentre Horizon won the award.
The Lenovo IdeaCentre Horizon Table PC takes over your coffee table to create a multi-user game board. The new 27 inch device can lie flat on any surface and allows two or more people use the screen at the same time. The IdeaCentre Horizon Table PC supports interactive physical gaming accessories and is designed for touch screen game play among several players.
If you want to use the Horizon as your personal computer, that is possible as well. Using the Table PC in the upright position you have a television sized touchscreen desktop using Windows 8.
With prices starting at approximately $1,699 we questioned if the price would scare away some potential buyers of the product. Winning the Last Gadget Standing competition shows there is strong support for the products. Maybe the folks voting for the IdeaCentre Horizon remember back not all that long ago when the average desktop computer system was in that price range.
In a world dominated by pocket sized devices Lenovo has set itself apart by going large.
It looks like the new table PC will be drawing some attention as it hits the streets this summer.
